On the 17-18th of July, there was a summer camp organized by the Foundation „Mažoji širdelė“ (Little Heart“) in a beatiful country side Šilinė, Jurbarkas region, at the river Nemunas. Summer heat did not allow the smallest children arriving but those who were there, enjoyed horseriding, games, and swimming. The foundation members discussed support projects and watched an amazing film „Hearts of Hope“ , sent especially for our organization by a film director Mercedes Kane from the USA.
It was our first summer camp, which we really enjoyed and which (we really hope) will expand next year.
The camp was supported by the Lutheran Diakonia (free night-stay at a guest‘s house), Charity fund „Golfas iš širdies“ („Golf from the Heart“) that presented vitamins for kids, other supporters: „Neutral“, Arūnas Rušnaitis (horseriding), Odeta Kirnienė.
Norime nuoširdžiai padėkoti VŠĮ Liuteronų diakonijos direktoriui kun. Mindaugui Kairiui - už nemokamą nakvynę, šiltai mus priėmusiam Arūnui Rušnaičiui - už pasijodinėjimą žirgais, Odetai Kirnienei už saldumynus, labdaros ir paramos fondui „Golfas iš širdies“ – už vitaminus vaikams VISION bei UAB „Eugesta“ atstovei Gintarei - už dovanų gautas „Neutral“ higienos priemones alergiškiems vaikams.
